Class Details

A series of classes to empower artists to mount and frame their work using museum quality materials and techniques. Register for the best dates for you to attend all 3 sessions of the in-person portion of this hybrid course. Registration includes access to an online self-paced class, with lecture, workflows and videos to prepare for the in-person class. After completing this course, you will have ongoing access to our Open Framing Studio. Learn more at www.zonefivecs.com/diy-mat-frame Taught by Jennifer McGlinchey Sexton Session 1: Introduction to custom mat cutting Session 2: Beginner mounting techniques for works on paper Session 3: Framing and finishing techniques Plan to bring your own artwork to mat and frame. We recommend starting small, and using standard sizes, such as 11 x 14 and 8 1/2 x 11 inches. Material fees are not included in registration and will be priced based on the size of frame needed.

Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule classes to adjust for enrollment. If it is necessary to cancel a class, all registered participants will be informed within 48 hours of the start date given the opportunity for a refund or transfer to another class. A full refund can be granted if a student requests a cancellation 48 hours or more before the scheduled start of class.
