About the artist:

Primarily self-taught, Lindsay Hand has exhibited her oil paintings at galleries, history museums and cultural centers across the U.S. Her deeply researched work — focused on power structures and the human spiritual experience — is frequently presented in partnership with institutes and entities outside of the traditional gallery experience. This unique approach, along with her spectral interpretation of the techniques utilized during Dutch’s Golden Age, has gained her national attention and earned media coverage.
